@NEEDcreations I don’t know why it didn’t dawn on me until just now but in theory say you have a guy who during the Monday night game (right after it locks) blows out his knee or has some other catastrophic injury. Did I see it right in that we can’t sub them out?

I’m just thinking to if a team like the Astros play something like 20 games in 21 days so in theory if you can’t swap players during the week playing the players who would be on the field the most would be the benefit right?

Or is there some exception?

This is why I wasn't in favor of switching from daily to weekly lineup changes... But the majority of the participants in our league wanted this change, so I went along with it...

I think the FAAB and larger league might have closed the loophole on infinite roster changes. maybe we don’t need once a week roster setting.

I was still able to substitute guys in today so idk what's going on

reply

it’s just a gentleman’s agreement right?

reply

no, it's supposed to be enforced by the settings now. So IDK what's going on, but it's a weird matchup length (1.5 weeks instead of just 1) so that's probably throwing everything off

reply

the first week is an exception and treated as 1.5 weeks cuz of opening day

It just dawned on me that the issue I had was when I added one of my pitchers to the IL I wasn't able to pick anyone up in their place so essentially I just have an empty slot for pitchers the next 4 days because they didnt put him on the IL till after the add/drop time.

reply

Yes waivers don’t go through until Monday.

reply

Yeah, I see moves are still open. Do you think it is because the first week is actually a week and a half?

reply

possibly

I don’t mind the current format, but I would be fine discussing a change. I’m pretty sure the commissioner can do that in season.
