The SN update screwed up the formatting for my template table. I am unsure how to fix it at this moment and I am too lazy to figure it out now.
Same ol update just keep buying the same stocks week in and week out. DCA gang! Now I am looking for LEAPS as I did today with XXI.
I made this by copying the markdown table into
TextEditin plaintext mode first, then copied it from there into SN'swritemode.Does IOS have a plain text editor?
I think that whatever comes out by searching āplain text editorā on App Store is enough.
iOS doesnāt ship a plain text editor afaik, you donāt know how many times I struggled with basic things like copying the bankās IBAN or other stuff. I just copy from Notes to a textbox in Messages, and copy again from that textbox to get the plain text version.

Here is another example of the formatting acting all crazy. I used to make a table every week by copy and pasting from my apple notes and making updates but today I am unsure why the table is all screwed up and I am too lazy to figure it out.
It took me a while to format this table perfectly in markdown and now when I copy and paste this happens.
Before the update, we used to strip out all formatting and only paste plain text. That also made copying from rich sources like websites or formatted docs with links and bold text a chore, having to add markdown and fix messed up pastes.
When you copy from something like Apple Notes, it includes formatting such as links, bold, and italics so you can paste it into another editor without having to fix formatting. This messes up whatever markdown you have in there, because now youāre copying all of those (hidden, extra) things, possibly breaking markdown syntax.
since youāre copying markdown from Appleās Notes, do this:
youāll copy the note in plain text and avoid extra rich formatting
on Desktop, you can avoid pasting rich formatting with

Ahhh thank you very much. @optimism told me to do this but I had a hard time understanding the difference.
I just tested it on my template and all the markdown formatting was intact.
