I just went back to one of my posts from the other day by chance and noticed about a dozen replies and 20k sats of zaps that I was never notified about. I double checked my notifications just now, and nothing from this post is there. Is that normal for this platform? How could this have happened?
pull down to refresh
I turned my zap notifications off. You should check your settings and make sure you're set up to be notified about these things.
I'm getting notified about all my other posts. So that's why this occurrence is weird to me
Sounds strange. I don't recall having that happen to me.
Can you see older reply notifications?
Yes, I see everything else (I think)...but how could I know for sure if something is missing or not, if it's missing? I guess I'd have to manually go back to all my posts and check but aint nobody got time for dat!
Sometimes, when I have a lot of notifications, the older reply notifications will disappear.
Ah, well this speaks to a bug!
Apparently you need to be as pathologically active on SN as me so you can find more bugs.
well, if I just won a bug bounty, I sure hope to not miss that notification
yeah that may have happened here. I was going hard in another thread with replies around the same time these notifications should have came in @k00b
No.
I'll look into it on my end.
for (3) you may need to scroll back further than you think.
If an item 3 days old was zapped today, it'll show up higher in notifications.
Regardless, I'm troubleshooting on my end just in case.
k00b I've been scrolling homie. I don't see a single notification from my linked post.
afaict all of your replies for that item should be on pages 4 and 5. It might be the case that it's not obvious which item the replies are for, and are hard to spot/identify, and it's a UX bug more than anything.
I'll keep investigating just in case.
Before writing this comment (which will cause another notification), here's where you can find the zaps and replies on that item in your notifications:

I'm still not seeing them on any pages. I'll take a screen recording for you. Maybe I'm blind
I'm sorry. I see them now. I swear I saw nothing before, but I probably was scrolling too fast or something. I'm sorry if I wasted your time @k00b. It's been a long day. I can't even begin to describe it really. Have a nice night.
(1) confirmed I did not unsubscribe, because I currently see "remove subscription" on the post, meaning I'm subscribed, right?
yes
sats filter?
wat?
I never messed with this setting until right now (wasn't aware of it). They were both at 10 and now I set both to negative infinity like you
