Agree we need more stackers than we need more territories but I also think SN should have a Music territory. One of the reasons I agreed to participate in maintaining health and fitness is I thought it made sense for SN to have one and the last one got archived.
It might not make sense to lower the territory cost but maybe new or recently unarchived territories can have reduced rent for the first few months while founders try to get the flywheel in motion. That’s a good period of time for them to see if they actually like managing a territory.
Ok, should we be posting to ~meta territory when the desired territory is not available?
By the way, what is TLC?
In other words the price is too high.
The audience SNs is providing territory investors is insufficient to justify the expense.
The entire platform is currently economically unsustainable.
Perhaps a territory fee based in part at least on a percentage of revenue the territory has enjoyed would be a fairer system and incentivise more activity - otherwise SNs is headed for eventual collapse.
It is expensive, but we have a lot of territories already. People create them without realizing how much effort is required to attract people/content. It's a lot of work. The active territories, the ones doing numbers, have founders that put lots of TLC into them - the financial cost is the cheap part.
We need more stackers more than we need more territories.
