Was a twitter thread about podcasting 2.0 apps and some replies discussing heavy resource/battery usage while listening to podcasts a little while back. Can't find it anymore so idk. Apparently not a problem anymore
lolnvm, saw @MerryOscar's reply to this post now. It has been a problem and still is to a degree. Nice to see that they're working on it though.
