Memories are short, there's NBA/NHL playoffs and the Red Sox are an embarassment to the town.
Gossip queens get to feast a bit into next week, but with the other sports news I don't think it can apply much pressure. So as long as the Kraft's cannot find a way to make it worse and fold like a napkin in the next 5-10 days that should be the end of it.
The timing of this seems targeted given the draft drop. My guess is whoever Vrabel or the Kraft's were being extorted by may have overestimated their leverage.
