Ah, but it is sometimes unclear how to pursue "whatever they are interested in."
We homeschool our kids and I am doing my best to encourage them to pursue the things that interest them, but it is surprisingly difficult to help them go deep on something that is also useful. Maybe I shouldn't put too many bounds on it, but children do seem to be a little like weathervanes: they just turn whichever way the wind blows.
I think that it is more like I want to encourage them to pursue fulfilling whatever need they recognize in the world.

for many people life meaning is exactly that: eat, study, sleep, work, retire and then unexpectedly get sick and die die.
Choose your life meaning wisely next time!
