Well, I shall be the first; others may join me at their leisure.
The world may not take me seriously, but I must take the world seriously, for I am superior and know what they do not, so how could I possibly take their rejection personally? If I ignore the masses rather than shaping the masses more expertly than the elites, they are all right to ignore me.
The men who await the masses are themselves casting themselves into the masses. The elite shall viciously eviscerate other elites, and take the masses into their custody, not as their equals, for that would be degenerate communism.
No one can tame the masses. At best one can menace them into temporary submission. One could reshape the world by inspiring other men of the mind to separate themselves from the masses through individual example.
Although, there's certainly a place for militarized Bitcoin when it comes to dealing with the intrusive elements of masses and their revolutions. Purely out of self-defense of course.
The masses are ruled by philosophy.
Bitcoiners can barely get over their own brilliance, let alone influence others; one must wonder how remarkable the bitcoiner is, for having the most obvious thing in all human history, yet to be so incapable of pitching almost anything effectively.
If there were a grand, Dionysian bitcoiner taking over the world, he would be noticed, so he does not yet exist.

No he wouldn't. 99% of the population would think he's a bumbling moron and a solid majority of Bitcoiners would agree. To be a genius means to be misunderstood and hated most of the time.
You can't make a better pitch for Bitcoin because the use case doesn't align with what everyone wants. Not everyone wants to make more money for less work. Not everyone values their own life.
a bumbling moron [who's secretly a genius!]
Interesting image of a superman you have there...
Not everyone values their own life.
Ironic :)
You think average people would recognize a superman if they saw one? They don't. Stupid doesn't see genius.
An invisible genius is no different from masturbation. Try again.
Not invisible. He's very visible. I'm saying no one sees that he's a genius.
Philosophically, we have this already in the form of Howard Roark. It just needs to be updated with cyberpunk aesthetics. But part of that culture necessarily entails not being taken seriously by the masses, so maybe some of it has to play out IRL a bit longer before it can be fully channeled through artistic mediums. Skewed perceptions and being drastically underestimated are par for the course until then.
