Bedford’s final game of the season just kicked off a few minutes ago. If they win this, they get promoted for the fourth season in a row, a first for English football. If they lose, it’ll be the first non-promotion since Peter McCormack bought the team.
pull down to refresh
Better luck next year.
Indeed, I think they’ll do it unless two monsters come down from the league above
They weren't going to get promoted every year all the way up to the Premier League. I am sure promotions will start taking longer now. A couple more levels up and it might take 5 years to get promoted again.
Definitely, I just wanted them to get one more in a row so they set the record, and it’s so rough that they came within minutes of doing it.
GOOOAAALLL

Rooting for them but I have a bunch of NO shares on them so I am torn. Haha
Where do you bet?
Someone created a market for their potential promotion on Bitcoin prediction market Predyx.

I was on NO early because they were lagging in the standings but they made a nice run near the end of the year to put themselves in position to get promoted. I do hope they win. The market doesn't have much action. There are only a few of us that have traded it.
oh yeah Predyx.
Yeah what a run if they do it.
Have you used Predyx?
I haven’t, only heard of it
It's a really good Bitcoin powered project.
Extra time halftime, still 3-2, Spalding ahead. One 15-min half left.
Equalizer!
Nice they tied it. I saw it was 1-0 earlier.
FUUUUCK Spalding equalize at the wire, 2-2
oh it was a penalty
Yeah. Saw them tweet it was a penalty. Too bad.
Goal for Spalding. 4-2 with a couple minutes left. Damn.
Damn.
2-1 with about 10 mins to go.
Thanks for the heads up. Now I can sell my NO shares and switch to YES
Match is done, Bedford loses 2-4, narrowly missing out on promotion.
Penalty or rugged by the refs?
Only minutes left for Bedford to keep their promotion dream alive
Spalding just scored in extra time, 3-2. Fortunately not Golden Goal.
Well, we are going into extra time.
Into loss time, still 2-1!
Spalding up 1-0 at the half.
Shit.
Their progression if they get promoted:
Spalding are favored but Bedford have beaten them before.
