Do you have access to strike? If you have a lightning node or anonymous lightning wallet, you can get around kyc a little. Dont buy the btc on strike just deposit cash. Then do a “lightning payment” to your node with the cash. You never actually “buy” the btc and the kyc is useless. You have plausible deniability that all you did was pay someone. You never actually buy anything.
Can't use Strike either in New York. Damn bitlicense. I should stop being lazy and switch to all non-kyc. I'm not under much risk here because I only leave on the exchange the funds that haven't cleared yet. I really posted as an FYI

You should come down south for the warmth and the freedom.

My wife and I are looking at Sarasota. I have many contacts in Florida and spend time down there.

Damn, i was thinking NY was the place that strike cant be used. Thats so insane. Can you use Fold?
reply
Can't use fold either. Honestly the reason I'm still with Gemini is because they have a bitcoin reward credit card. I slap monthly expenses on it.

Im not sure if fold can do lightning payments the same way. I think it can though
