I’m quite impressed by the reformed Singapore Oceanarium. The clear enclosures stood in stark contrast to the dark surroundings, accentuating the vibrant colours and carefree movements of assorted marine creatures. The sheer size of various tanks left me in awe as I darted my eyes here and there, trying in to take in the spectacle all at once. I am reasonably pleased with the satisfaction I derived from paying a hefty $140 in entrance fees, but the son was disappointed. This was the second time that the chance to gaze at dolphins had slipped past him. The dolphin enclosure was closed for maintenance, it seemed.
