No, unfortunately MARA's chief executives aren't driving around the desert in a spiky Mad Max-type cruiser. 

 doing some crazy shit, corporate filings (DEF14A compensation tables) citing special crypto-related risks for its CEO and CFO... (I mean sure, there are probably keys involved -- keys that unlock irreversible transactions, blah-blah). But this seems like pushing it??

We’ve never seen “vehicle armoring” disclosed as a perk before, and $869,160 of across two executives is quite a lot.

Nope. FT journos kept asking the poor MARA spokesperson having to answer these awkward questions without revealing what sort of tanks the company's executives drive in... 

We had further questions that the spokesperson declined to answer. Chiefly, 

what kind of vehicles were being armoured? If they are just regular cars, wouldn’t it have been better to just go whole hog (we say, linking to commercially-available tanks for the second time in a month)?

 If they are helicopters, who exactly has been threatening MARA? Paramilitaries? If it’s boats then why not just not have boats?
