R1 is now over and there have been a few upsets among top seeded players, including Medveded (6) , Fritz (7) and Bublik (9). Other seeded players that have gone home are Lehecka(12), Norrie (20) Etcheverry (23), Griekspoor (29) and Moutet (30).

R2 is already on its way between today and tomorrow.
