For those who have ever traveled to another country or city, what has been your favorite place you've visited so far?

I would love to see pictures too

And for those who have never traveled, what place would you like to visit?

Personally, I would love to visit Italy or Greece, and I would also love to visit Japan or Korea

I'm a sucker for islands.

  • Terceira is super awesome, especially Angra, but only in summer
  • I also love the North Coast of the Dominican Republic, a bit away from the too touristy places... i.e. follow the coast to the east of Puerto Plata. Lots of gems there away from the resorts.
  • If mainland Europe, and cities: Bratislava > Vienna, Amsterdam > Berlin, Barcelona > Rome. But these are so insanely touristy nowadays that I'd rather just go to a quiet place in the middle of nowhere.
Korea

I loved the Seoraksan National Park near Sokcho. Great nature. At least a few decades ago it was very peaceful there.

Happy cows make yummy steaks make happy opti.

also, outside of the fields, especially both at the coastline, and closer to the big caldera and the Mt Brazil peaks, I've seen quite the ecological diversity. It's been an amazing place to grab a bike and just go wherever the wind blows. Oh and biking down the main volcano is scarier than up, which in turn is more of a battle tho, lol

We stayed east of Mt Brazil based on my photographs.

Ditto on the ecology.

Probably Greece. Crete was really cool, Athens was great. Delos was fascinating. The cats are friendly and the people too. I enjoyed just taking some random hikes and eating delicious food, which can be found pretty much anywhere.

I believe that every place on Earth is worth exploring at least once. So I’m more attracted to the notion of travelling itself than the particular places I have visited

That said, I hope to live for a year or two in Taiwan one day. Or Thailand.

Costa Rica, it's a paradise. Madeira is fun for a week or so. Ecuador has some great volcanoes to hike. Lima, Peru has the best food. Staying on floating islands with the locals on lake Titicaca was I think my top experience.

Japan hands down. Kyoto was amazing
