Since 2017, Bitcoin moved on weekends while regulated futures markets slept.
Traders mapped these gaps, and some took years to close.
But now that has changed. The CME started trading 24/7 on May 29th. The first weekend saw over 7,200 contracts, $50 million notionally.
The institutional BTC futures market now never closes. One of the oldest strategies in the crypto market has just EXPIRED.
Have you ever traded the CME gap?
Never but I know lots of TA guys must change their approach
