Bitcoin is the right to save, and the right to transact IF your transactions don't infringe on the rights of others. It is sound money, sovereign money, property rights, pro-taxpayer, and pro-freedom.
It is all the good things the United States was supposed to be about.
Saying bitcoin is SoV only... Anything else being a 'nice to have' is quite possibly the biggest shitcoiner thing I have ever heard.
That would mean that networks like lightning, nostr, Stacker News and others don't really matter... Because bitcoin is only valuable for the "Number Go Up" well...
Bitcoin is to be perfectly honest a pretty lousy Number-Go-Up but it can be and should be a GREAT freedom go up.
Freedom from technical inflation, freedom to run a node, freedom to access quality and well-reviewed software, freedom to access a permission-less network, and freedom to reasonable privacy, at least in the context of modern life (which isn't all that private unfortunately).
A real bitcoiner believes that bitcoin eventually eats all the stablecoins, all the shitcoins, all the "privacy" coins that hardfork unilaterally, and all the fiat over a long enough time period...
Because Freedom and goodness in people and networks sells. It is the greatest selling product ever and no ducking shitcoin compares.

Stacker News is a GREAT product don't let anyone else tell you different, it is a real working model of Bitcoin as a Medium-of-Exchange that's legitimately scalable, attractive, modern and utilizes lightning which is a GREAT creation. It could and WOULD BE useful to countless people IF they werr pushed in the right direction with the right motivation.
If we can't believe in what we are selling, buying, and using as both as Store of Value and Medium of Exchange... Then why should anyone else. That's all I have to say.
