By far the DUMBEST thing about this is he lived in a $35 million mansion in SoCal and only reported a maximum income of $20,000 to the IRS.... I mean, how stupid do you have to be? That is so easy to look at and go hmmm, something does not add up here, we should investigate.

He tried to cover up his network and encryption tech sales as inheritance, which, given that he said $15 million, the IRS is going to track that as well.... This guy tried to pull something so dumb it worked for years before he got caught.
