US Route 89, often called the National Parks Highway, provides access to ten national parks by connecting directly or via short detours.  These parks, generally traversed from south to north, are:

1. Grand Canyon National Park (Arizona)
2. Petrified Forest National Park (Arizona)
3. Zion National Park (Utah)
4. Bryce Canyon National Park (Utah)
5. Capitol Reef National Park (Utah)
6. Canyonlands National Park (Utah)
7. Arches National Park (Utah)
8. Grand Teton National Park (Wyoming)
9. Yellowstone National Park (Wyoming/Montana)
10. Glacier National Park (Montana)

Route 89 is one of America's most scenic road trips.
