This post is part of a series. It is meant to be a place for stackers to discuss creative projects they have been working on or ideas they are aiming to build. Regardless of your project being personal, professional, physical, digital, or even simply an idea to brainstorm together.
If you have any creative projects or ideas that you have been working on or want to eventually work on... This is a place for discussing those, gathering initial feedback and feeling more energetic about bringing it to the next level.
Thanks @SHA256man @DarthCoin @justin_shocknet @Kontext and @d680ecaa8e for joining and sharing your ideas in the previous edition. How are you all doing with your projects? Any update?
₿e Creative, have Fun!
In regards of the last week discussion, I think I found a simple solution for my offgrid electricity setup.
A central device like Bluetti (power bank, AC/DC converter, stabilizer etc). Is practically an all in one and quite cheap and can be charged from solar and hydro, in the same time.
Then 2 solar panels 36V for charging during the sunny days.
Then a small hydro turbine that will charge 24/7.
If the consumption will reach the battery limits, can be upgraded with an additional one easily.
If the consumption will be too low, then I can plug a BTC miner and boil the fucking oceans.
But this project I think I have to delay it for the end of the year or early next year. Now I have other small tasks to finish and also preparing the garden base for the next year, planting some fruit trees, grapes vines etc.
But yeah once I install the electricity system, I could start working on the 2nd bigger house. Until now was just experimenting and learning.
The alwaysworking strategy of diversifying, it's a great solution, and you're covered in any weather condition. This BluettiPower solution (italian brand built in the US?) + solar will cover your needs for most of the year, I guess. Then you just need to make sure the flow of water does not freeze in wintertime.
Planting a garden and fruit trees sounds like a good long-term plan. So are you planning to live there full time at some stage?
hahaha no, don't fall for the italian sound like name. Is pure chinese brand like almost all you see on the market. Everything is chinese...
Check this out
Chinese are making fancy names companies as brands and selling at extra prices.
TOTALLY. Until now was just preparations. It was just an abandoned terrain with nothing on it just vegetation and pasture for cows, that now I convert it slowly into a homestead.
lol, I've been working for such western fiat companies to create these valuable brands and marketing crap some time ago. Anyhow, it looks like a solid product to be chinese. Most things have been made in China until now, I feel things are going to change soon, if not already on that path.
I am not saying that is not a good product. That's why I want to go for this brand.
That video explain it quite well, where is the problem.
how about...
Never seen such a thing, and my curiosity got rewarded with a few discount codes I'll probably never use. For you!
what is even more interesting to these Bluettti power stations is that are NOT using Lithium, but Sodium-Ion phosphates. That means you can charge them at 0ºC and have longer life than lithium ones. Also less probability to get on fire.
Mostly putting out fires, CLINK breaking out and Bxrd users along with it, lots of bug fixes and squeezing out what more performance I can out of AQL
Also pushed some security fixes to Pub yesterday so be sure to update and stay updated
ShockWallet now also in the Zapstore after many requests
I'd like to get back to Nodestr testing and Pub landing pages/docs next
Also need to put together a deck tonight or tomorrow, bear market treasury pain and all that... took a VC call this week based on an email update but I don't think that's going to cut it for an IC meeting.
Trying and failing is part of the process; there will always be another port to land. I suppose pointing to the North Star is more important than getting to a port anyway.
To update LNpub is just a question of running the same one-line cli used also for deployment? Could not find how to update in the docs.
So is Nodestr already in place? I thought it was just an idea!
Yea just re-run the script, its in the FAQ and Automatic section, probably needs surfaced better...
There is code for Nodestr but completely on my hard drive, haven't done an e2e test yet
Most ideas are similar to themselves so you can't assume something as a revamp.
When did I assume "something as a revamp"?
You could for example think about idea from another vision.
Another version of what?
