pull down to refresh

As I’ve been diving deeper into innerstanding my home (body) and trying to cleanse it from
those pesky internal ‘critters’– you know, parasites – using various methods, including enemas, I’ve noticed something interesting: my skin has gotten really dry. On the bright side, being part of the
Nostr Value Packproject has been a fantastic perk! It gives me this amazing chance to try out all sorts of wonderful products made and sold by bitcoiners on Nostr. But today, I really want to shine a spotlight on a few things that have come to my rescue in dealing with this dry skin.
I’ve definitely tried my fair share of products.
Many of them are beef tallow-based, and I have
to say, Born To Be Free body butter has been a real winner for me. I’m super happy with it.

I’ve also explored some plant-based options that have surprised me in the best way. Permanerd’s Comfrey Salve and Rising River Botanical’s Hydrosol and Desert Sun Face Serum. They’re not just good; they’re now absolute must-haves in my daily routine.

From what I’ve experienced using both beef tallow and plant-based products, I can confidently say
that beef tallow is an incredible moisturizer. Our skin already produces sebum, so it makes sense that beef tallow, with its similar makeup, just melts right in, providing protection and moisture that lasts. And, it’s even helped my skin heal from little scrapes and cuts without leaving any scars. Now, I do have a small farm with sheep and other animals, and in the summer, the insects here are relentless – and they seem to love tallow. So, I’ve learned to save my beef tallow products for after my evening shower or for days when I’m mostly staying indoors.

Thankfully, Permanerd also offers this fantastic olive oil-based Comfrey Salve that my skin absolutely
adores.

The moment you put it on, that smooth texture just gives you this lovely, ‘day-at-the-spa’ kind of feeling. I truly believe this salve has some serious healing powers. I even used it on my dog when she had a hot spot on her back to stop her from biting it. She eventually licked it off, but I noticed the hot spot started healing up, and new hair is actually growing back now!

This Comfrey Salve has actually sparked an idea in me: I’m inspired to create a new addition to my Sats Pit natural deodorant collection, and it’s going to be olive oil-based.

I’ll definitely be back soon with an update on that!
Until then see you on Nostr.
