Hi all,
Back from Prague! Had forgot how beautiful this city is!
For an artist with a rather hermit lifestyle and coming out of his cave for the first time to meet other Bitcoiners irl in a large event like that, it was an enlightening experience and my crusty, 25 years old Starlet actually made it๐ !
The group of artists was sensational, big up all! Amazing discussions, friendliness and inspiration, what else?!๐
The gallery itself was exceptional, two unavoidable huge walls in the middle of the expo hall, several large plinths with sculptures and a proper booth for selling merch and more. According to many who did way more of such events than me, it was basically the best, ever. The art was all of truly high quality, mind blowing!
I couldn't get everything in picture as there was just so much but here's a list of the artists who participated: Adam Kadmon, Lady Block Jane, Modeotec, Antonio Batzu, Bartosz Lewicki aka "The Great Print", Volatile21, Blu3baer, Mx12, Rebel Money, I Am GPIO, Venus Rose, Just B, Mr Meadows, Cripsi, Zetra, Bitcoin Design, Studio Zeitwerk, David Kelovskรฝ, RYR, Bigjohnnyb23, Program Zero, The Great Print, 5ksana, Avalatara, ็ฎ11, Hodlxhold, CypherpunkNow, Sweedgraffixx, Bitchair, Anik Malcolm, Dimitria Barrows, Yonat Vaks, April Popko, Leathermint, House of Ralfus and of course, yours truly X3N0533D!
Especially glad to have met some peeps from Stackchain Mag like @HiQ and Bitcoin Bekka from who I got to taste her legendary Banana Bread! And I got to collect some of the coolest swag out there!
As well as some Absynth!
Ah yeah, and I could play Golden Eye and earning sats per Headshots!
Obviously there was so much more to show, some crazy projects like Citadelvault, boardgames like Blockhunters, Gamestr, the awesome merch of Madex at the Bull Bitcoin booth, a lot of Wallet stuff, Mining stuff, tech and nerdy stuff ... The talks I mostly missed but had the chance to catch one hosted by George Bodine with Fractal Encrypt, Madex and a rapper I forgot the name...
The food (AND THE CZECH BEER) was great, rather cheap and every single stall was accepting Bitcoin!
The event was mainly "corporate" and it isn't my main focus but it's amazing the organizers have mixed it up with art. Apparently the latter was much bigger than last year, so it should be even better on the next edition.
To get a sense of the athmosphere, you can find a serie of livestreams done by Bull Bitcoin and in fact, my short interview here: https://www.youtube.com/live/OjE4kFLTFJo?si=2fz7vCKnUhq7G03t&t=1526
I learned a lot, I came back with a lot of inspiring thoughts and shittons of new ideas! I can't wait for more opportunities to exhibit new pieces! ๐
Of course, huge thanks to Fractal Encrypt who curated the show and spent an incredible amount of energy making it all go flawless while staying absolutely fucking humble. I feel blessed to have met such fantastic human ๐๐๐
P.S: I still have a couple of the (A1) large format 300g., the smaller ones (A2) digital prints available for sale, as well as originals which you can see in detail here: https://haedre.com/gallery/xenoseed, let me know if you have interest!
Pretty incredible. Looks like you had a great time.
