That's true, Apple literally scams suppliers. But it's not a new thing, this has been the case for decades - most importantly they don't have the market share to even cause a shift in prices, imo.
They're trying to blame their own poor negotiating skills when it's all about datacenters.
If it wasn't for increased prices there would be shortages. High prices through supply&demand are a good thing, they mean the market is efficient at allocating a scarce resource to the most economically urgent usecase.
