This is the drama we were waiting for. Brazil suffered up to the last minute of their match to beat a group of very disciplined Japanese, who played really well and whose names you may not remember. Brazilian players, with a market value of several hundred million dollars, just managed to beat 2-1 to the Blue Samurais.
If it wasn't enough, Germany was surprised by the Paraguayan and were losing most of the game. At 77 minutes of play, they equalized the match and led us to the extra time and penalty shoot out. Paraguay's goalkeeper saved 3 penalties, becoming the hero of the match. One of the favorites is going home.
Finally, Morocco and Netherlands ended in extra time and penalty shoot-out after 120 minutes of play (1-1), with both goalkeepers completing a great match. The Oranges missed three penalties and Morocco reached the last 16, where they will play against Canada.
Tonight, three more matches to decide who is going to be in the next round. First match will be between Ivory Coast and Norway, where Haaland and friends had a day off in their last match against France. Will it help them to overcome Ivory Coast? European teams are not doing well so far, with two of them going home.
Then, France will play against Sweden, where anything different from a clear French victory would be a surprise.
Finally, Mexico and Ecuador will close the day. I think it could be an interesting match, especially if Ecuadorians play at the same level they did against Germany.
Enjoy the drama!!!
3 nil for the beautiful drama
Those who don't understand football, definitely can feel it on days like yesterday
Brasil first comeback win with Carlo
Vini Jr almost scored a eternal goal
Arsenal thank you for the Gabs
Casemiro ying yang half, the bad and ugly 1st the Carlo trust paid of in the 2nd
Last minute of game no desperation, just pure open play magic BG the assist leader found Gabi and he found the woodwork, that got the net
The pleasure of a win like that is really hard to describe
YOU NEED TO FEEL FOOTBALL
I feel like some people need to practice their penalty kicks
The xG of a penalty is 79% conversion rate
goal is 7.32 meters (24 feet) wide and 2.44 meters (8 feet) high.
It's just embarrassing not hitting it
A lot of missed penalties yesterday
I don't think it's only practice, being nervous, it's a World Cup, etc . I know that they are professionals but...
You're absolutely right
60% nerves
20% practice
20% GK effort
But my statement is the same embarrassing
Congrats man! Definitely a great win and I can imagine how you felt with that goal.
Really a delightful ending
But we really need to improve on the number of shots outside the box, i was really shouting at BG totake the shot and he delivers that perfect pass
Ehat do i know 😆
Very surprising Germany got taken out by Paraguay.
One of the biggest surprises in this World Cup. Here, the TV presenters were laughing at a Paraguayan journalist who stated before the match "in our road to the Final we need to beat the best teams , and Germany is in the road". They must be still recovering and the Paraguayan still laughing at them.
What's with the unresolved @Team_Predyx markets, @mega_dreamer ?
A few group stage winners are still in "Ended" or at 1.00, not paid out
Japan 🤦♂
