With just 15 minute left, Congo were causing one of the biggest upset this World Cup. England was unable to score and equalize the Leopards initial goal. But, Kane appeared and in a couple of interventions gave the win to England, avoiding extra time and penalty shoot out drama.

Senegal thought that, in their case, everything was settled and beating Belgium 0-2 at 85 minutes was enough to be content. Then , in less than 3 minutes, they equalized the matched, went to the extra time and scored a penalty at 124 minutes, the latest goal in a World Cup.

Middle of the night here in Europe, USA advanced to the last 16 round and will face Belgium for a spot in QFs. They managed to hold their 2-0 advantage despite of playing with just 10 players for 30 minutes.

Tonight, two of disappointing teams play their last 32 round match. To begin with , Spain will face Austria. In theory, Spain should prevail though this has to be shown in the pitch. We are running out of wingers in the left side, so this reduces our chances.

Then Portugal will play against Croatia. The latest are a competitive team despite of their leaders being close to retirement. I am sure it will be a great match.

Finally, Switzerland will play against Algeria.
