I completely understand that we aren't going to force people to change their unit of account overnight. I think the book "When Money Dies" addresses this.

But the majority of Bitcoiners use that fact as an excuse to be complacent in their own lives.

As @DarthCoin suggests in his post, boycotts DO work, and have worked throughout history. We don't need to "force" them, but we sure as hell could be doing more to boycott them.

We could be "opting out" of fiat by putting our efforts into creating our own circular economies with supply chains that don't use fiat. Instead, most of our efforts go into fiat-supporting, "financial" activities. Strike, Blockstream, Strategy.... all doing more for the fiat system than they are for Bitcoin. Seriously. And I think that is the point of Darth's post.

We aren't going to force "them", but why aren't we forcing ourselves? We know better, yet we don't change.
