After some hardware issues on our stats node, we're back to delight stackers with the news that nothing changes yet... until it does, of course.
This epoch, 474, despite having 3 activation clients in the running, will be incapable of effectuating any changes.
We check the progress by measuring block versions masked with 0xE0000038 to track activation client adoption:
- Bit 3 (
0x08): LNHANCE (0/1714 blocks thus far, can't be activated this epoch)[1] - Bit 4 (
0x10): BIP-110 (10/1109 blocks thus far, can't be activated this epoch) - Bit 5 (
0x20): CTV (0/1815 blocks thus far, can't be activated this epoch)

Since we've missed some reports, here is a historical table and chart to fill the gap:
| Epoch | None | LNHANCE | BIP-110 | CTV |
| 468 | 2014 | 0 | 2 | 0 |
| 469 | 2016 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| 470 | 2016 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| 471 | 2009 | 0 | 7 | 0 |
| 472 | 2000 | 0 | 16 | 0 |
| 473 | 2007 | 0 | 9 | 0 |
Note: the
LNHANCEactivation client atlnhance/bitcoinhasn't been updated since 0.29; does anyone know what is going on there? Its activation window lasts until Jan 03, 2028, so the 0.29 code is technically still in play. ↩
