CPI is not really a great measure of cost of living.
For example if beef gets too expensive, the basket is updated to include, say, chicken instead.
So, the quality of life goes down, but that's not shown in the CPI.

So it has come down slightly, still away above fed funds so I guess they'll go ahead with another 25 BIPs, lol wonder if more things are going to break as they try to "tame inflation"
