Today went better!

I got my ramen fix and I had to eat a 98 gram slice of upside down pineapple cake with a nice glass of milk that left me gassy.

No burpees today as I need rest for the upcoming work and gym schedule.

No much off balance sheet calories today.

Thus I survived the weekend!

Hahah when weighing food for caloric intake it is much easier to use grams than oz. Mostly all of the food packaging has serving size listed in grams

Went on an evening walk yesterday with my wife to catch the sunset. View was quite nice.

Was supposed to wake up early this morning for a 17km run with a lot of elevation gain. Ended up sleeping in, and ran on a different route than originally planned; 15km with much less elevation gain. Didn't push too hard on this one and went at a comfortable pace.

I recently realized that I have to look into buying new running shoes again. I only started wearing this pair back in late January, but have already put about 750km on them...

They probably exist, but have no bounce, no flex, no foam, and impossibly uncomfortable to run in.

Yesterday didn’t go so well. Took full advantage of the holiday to eat what I wanted.

Completely blew past my 1800 calorie goal

And I didn’t even include about 4 oz of milk and a French pastry that might have been about 30 grams of sweet bread.

Due to the crazy heat I missed my step goal but I did 100 burpees. I thought that would be easy but after the first 25 I was gassed!! I am thinking maybe a new challenge is trying to do 100 burpees in under 10 mins!!

Today is a new day! Started off good but I am craving ramen noodles so I might dive in be we shall see.

I was going to say that your cheat day was a little underwhelming but those exclusions make it respectable.

Treated myself to an eye mask this afternoon so that I could take a nap instead of doomscrolling my phone. Wanted to rest for 20 mins but slept for an hour. The rest time felt therapeutic

That sounds great. I've never been able to work napping into my routines but it's so rejuvenating on the rare occasions that I sneak one in.
