The morning started with adeptly juggling a bazillion packages going out to weekend buyers at the post office this morning. Youth Day holiday today, and I made it count. Spent an interesting hour with Ken, the manager of Long Kuan Hung Crocodile Farm. Gathered two possible questions for future exam-setting: 1) why do female crocodiles build nests for their eggs? and 2) why does the crocodile open its mouth?
As if today wasn’t memorable enough, I met a fellow Singaporean from Books Don’t Throw (Singapore) who kindly passed me her copies of Inspire. If my sixth graders ace their Primary School Leaving Examination, I would really need to thank her!
