Waco is basically what put Alex Jones on the map. At the time he was a college student that dabbled occasionally community access TV.
That event led him to drop out of school and pursue his community access channel full-time and start making documentaries on the subject.
Although I didn't live in Austin, somehow (I suppose supporters of his) would tape his shows and air them in neighboring cities community access channels. Seeing one of his documentaries on Waco was one of the first times I really began to question govt abuse and power....
