Our family signed up for the local YMCA a couple days ago.
My daughter wanted to take some swimming lessons and my son and I wanted to use the pool, basketball court and gym.
My daughter went for her first lesson last night and had a blast. We stayed for the open swim afterwards which consisted of me helping my daughter practice what she learned and chilling in the hot tub. So I am not sure I got a ton of exercise but I am going to chalk it up to "better than nothing".
Man they use a lot of chlorine in that water. "Don't drink the water"!
My daughter has her next lesson on Thursday so we will probably stay for open swim again and hopefully Friday evening I can get my son out to shoot some hoops and use the gym.
I miss how fun popular music used to be.
I am not sure if I am allowed to have fun. I have to check with Supreme Leader Carney. I might need to apologize to the indigenous peoples and the climate first. So I won't be doing the dance until I hear back from the government that it is ok. Which based on governmental timelines means I will be dancing in my grave.
Let your countrymen know that becoming the 51st state means they're allowed to openly enjoy The Village People again.
