I trudged / plodded to the Plant Tissue Culture Lab at the end of a workday, lugging four packets of soil. What a glorious / magnificent sight met my eyes!
Real-life pitcher plants graced the lab with their elegance. I was riveted to / captivated by this novel sight.
The icing on the cake was the presentation given by the vendor. She shared her knowledge about nepenthes, and it was an insightful / enlightening talk.
I had to leave early, but I left the lab feeling rejuvenated / refreshed by her rousing / soul-stirring passion.
Is he carrying a corpse in his backpack? :D
By the way, carnivorous plants have always really fascinated me—very interesting... I'm actually Googling Nepenthes right now.
Thanks for sharing.
