Is Britain about to collapse again?

Two observations:

  • Collapse is a strong word. In history, decline is often slow and gradual... but also very real, and very possible.
  • The idea that civilization always advances forward is a fairly modern concept. People in past ages could look upon the ruins and achievements of old empires and understand that antiquity was more advanced than modernity. Few people would do that today, but I wonder if 100 years from now people will look back and say the 1990s were peak civilization.

trajectory looks bad currently. quite dystopian in fact with the two tier policing and ongoing attacks on free speech.

it seems they are trying their best to undermine the western values that advanced civilization in favor of feel good, kumbaya multicultural diversity for the sake of diversity.

sad to see... i say this as a very brown minority watching from a distance.

Fair. I think even the younger generations feel it.
