Hi Stackers,

Hal wallet supports Ark payments now using Second's bark ASP. You can cooperatively or unilaterally exit from Ark back to main chain.

There's also a feature to create a gift link to send Ark sats to someone without knowing their address or to someone who doesn't yet have a wallet.

Let me know what you think!

From the github readme:

off-chain sends are co-signed by the Ark server [...] but it can never spend your coins

That is not how Ark works.

Wait on the website, section how it works:

The server can never take your money [...] a wallet left untouched past expiry can be swept by the server.

A wallet swept means coins can be spend, money can be taken.

No mention of sender/server collusion (the sender can be the server by the way), no mention of the frequency of required user interaction (or delegated signing).

I think the documentation needs some work to not mislead the users.

This looks cool! I'm going to try it out.

What's the best way to get in touch with you? SN is working on something that might be useful for Hal.

Adding Ark support and making off-chain payments easier is exactly what the space needs right now. Thanks for the update, I'll try it out!
