I look down on people who make a 180 in their ideology. If you did not choose your ideology with conviction at the age of 13 I don't trust you that it comes from a deep fundamental conviction and values.

Generally, I suspect most peoples opinions could be turned if they were forced to watch political content from the opposite site for an hour a day for half a year.

I don't mean it in a mean way - maybe you're the exception and your conviction is genuine. In my experience most of the time it isn't lasting long.
