Fine, there's no image of Saylor that makes him look good, but like why always repeat version of this??

James Anderson didn’t panic when his shares of the bitcoin-hoarding firm Strategy went into a free fall this summer. Instead, he doubled down on his positions, which had recently been at around $100,000. His holdings are now at around $62,000, including Strategy’s common stock and related options contracts and exchange-traded funds.

There's a selection lesson there, too in that every single company that collapsed, asset that went to literal zero, there were people who could have said that same idiotic thing: Ugh, bruh, blood in the streets!" Operation was a success; patient died, etc.

Yes, conditional on WINNING. But that's not MSTR, the shareholders of which Mr. Saylor is very busy scalping.

Some investors can’t resist the prospect of amplifying short-term gains in bitcoin or collecting dividends on Strategy’s preferred shares, while others are simply die-hard believers in bitcoin and think the cryptocurrency will emerge from its latest winter.

I mean fine, but per Parker Lewis... if you're a die-hard believer in bitcoin, why in the world are you dabbling with MSTR or STRC?! That's financialized permissioned fiat, you twathead.

yup, we know:

Last month, Strategy unveiled a turnaround plan that included buying back stock and selling bitcoin—something Saylor had urged people never to do. Shares of Strategy and its biggest dividend-paying preferred stock, Stretch, have reversed some losses since the plan was announced. Still, the common stock is 80% off its record high in 2024, while Stretch is about 15% below its par value of $100.

Blok is desperate to win some sats back from poor lil Den, having told him for ages how poor and antithetical to Bitcoin these pathetical fiat games are.

"Some Strategy fans have faith Saylor will be able to get the company back on its footing.""Some Strategy fans have faith Saylor will be able to get the company back on its footing."

yeah, unfortunately. We with somewhat higher IQ haven't done a good enough job educating people, I guess.

Skeptics say Strategy and its investors are playing with fire. They point to the company’s struggle to balance the conflicting demands of common shareholders, preferred stockholders and the broader bitcoin community. Meanwhile, bitcoin has roughly halved since reaching a peak in October last year, hurting the value of Strategy’s stash, which is now valued at about $54 billion.

(Will address today's/last week's dilution-as-a-service episode in a separate post.)

sometimes the simplest strategy ends up being the hardest to beat

Sounds like cope from Mister Parker “I can’t find a real job so I’m going to bum off the Zaprite guys and provide zero value to their bottom line. “ Lewis

Blasphemy!! I pump your sat bagz with this MSTR fiat game! When the music stops (which it won’t) the sats you would have made could have paid for SN territory rent for at least one mont! Prime lightning real estate right there!

I shall take your dough for as long as it's offered — with zero change or impact to content.

May Strategy fall!

Well, duh. Why would he want anyone stealing his playbook? I don't think he liked that guy who was shorting MSTR and buying bitcoin with it, either.

Chanos was the only one having fun last year. Pocketed a neat sum off Saylor's stupidity, I'm sure

if i'm bullish on bitcoin, i'd rather own the asset than the corporate structure around it
