Binding the silent-payment output to Electrum’s final coin selection, rechecking after the fee dialog, and signing immediately is a sensible boundary for the send side. In my BIP-352 reproduction, all 28 send and 29 receive vector cases passed, but receiving still changed the architecture: continuous scanning, with a real privacy difference between local computation and a remote server. Keeping those scopes separate here looks like a feature, not an omission.
