I am never ever considering buying anything from CoinKite. And luckily my funds were not drained. I do have a few old Mk3s tho but they say:

 We are not planning to update Mk3 firmware at this time, so please use newer hardware or add a BIP-39 passphrase as a stopgap.

I understand mistakes happen but as far as I get this would be a trivial typo fix for the firmware to make their hw usable again, because bad entropy is sort of a big deal. Instead they say "fuck you, buy a new wallet". Well I sure will - but not a Coldcard.
