If every rep doesn’t count, you’re wasting time.
A lot of busy professionals rush Romanian deadlifts, bounce out of the bottom, and turn a high-value hamstring exercise into half a rep.
For more muscle with less wasted time:
Push your hips back.
Keep the weight close.
Control the descent.
Stop when your hamstrings reach their end range.
Drive your hips forward without bouncing.
Use a weight you can control for 6 to 8 solid reps, finishing with 1 to 2 reps in reserve.
The goal isn’t to destroy your body in one workout.
It’s to stimulate growth, recover, and train consistently enough to keep progressing.

I've always had a bad habit of cheaping out at the bottom of pull-ups. It's better to do fewer good ones than more cheap ones.
