One of the strangest things about the future is how much of it looks like unfinished business from the 20th century. Think about what's making a comeback:
- Nuclear power
- Supersonic flight
- Lunar missions
- Commercial space stations
- Airships
- Geothermal drilling
- Underground infrastructure
None of these ideas are new. Many were abandoned because the technology, economics, or politics weren't ready. Now advances in materials, computing, AI, robotics, and manufacturing are giving them a second chance.
It makes me wonder how many "failed" ideas weren't actually bad ideas, they were just decades ahead of their time. Which forgotten technology do you think deserves another chance, and why?
No idea, bro... but when inspiration strikes, I'll let you know... hahaha
Money with limited supply is coming back too. Nature tried to give us gold
Timing really is everything. Some ideas fail because they're bad. Others fail because they're early.
