Pool money hire a pro auditor. Last team I worked with wasn't cheap (i think our shared client paid around half a million shitfiat coins for 3 months work) but they were good.

Modesty is what is needed more of, not less. I didn't catch this bug. Of course I learned from that, but the painful question is: do I need to learn from it next time again?
