The LNDHub instance was schedule for 30thof april but I already got an API error message that advices to withdraw any funds.

They have been having issues with their DB for a while. The wallet was very slow towards the end. If your account had more that dozen transactions it would break down.
Their Helpdesk telegram channel had issues with fraudsters pretending to represent blue wallet.
Operating a wallet like this takes a lot of work and effort. The creators want to focus on more decentralized projects.

no but you can receive both lightning and on chain bitcoin to the same wallet and send out lightning or on chain from it
