I don’t have a lot of spare time, so I like to hang out with my trusted friends whenever I have a rare afternoon off.
Meeting my friends for lunch never fails to uplift my spirits. I love to catch up on their recent happenings and share my own with them. Sometimes, I unload my problems to them, and they are kind enough to offer me a listening ear. I always feel rejuvenated after these lunch sessions.
Just recently, I met up with my secondary school friend at this restaurant called Grub Prata Kitchen at Bishan Park. I hadn’t met her in seven months, but our conversation flowed easily like water. Laughter filled the air as we wryly shared our challenges with good humour. It was comforting to lean on her for support.
I suggest that people take time out to spend quality time with their friends. This will empower them with the strength to face life’s obstacles.
