I don't plan on wasting any money on trying to attack their fork. More that I hadn't heard of this idea before: especially the part about how you may only be able to fire miners once.

I'm curious how a chain might mitigate that. We could hopefully learn something from a real life "firing of the miners"

I can probably think of some shitcoins I'm not going to name that fork their pow often, so I don't know how true that is. Also, I remember Vitalik claiming that even continuous 51% attacks are survivable. So if they get attacked and it fails he's both right and wrong, and if they get attacked and it succeeds, he's also both right and wrong.

If they truly need and will deploy that pow change, then haven't we only learned how to not do it?
