The 'custodian always saw everything' defense is technically true and completely beside the point. The scam was always the label - people signed up for 'Lightning' and got a bank with extra steps. Chainalysis is just the part they couldn't hide. Real Lightning doesn't know your name, your balance, or your history. If the pitch needs fine print, it's not the same product
