Signet coins are sometimes difficult to acquire. While there are a few basic signet faucets out there:

You can get as many test coins as you want if you run regtest, but it is more difficult to test network dynamics. Bitcoin has a type of test network called signet where you can still experience network interactions but without the chaos of actual testnet.
The most popular signet is run by a group of bitcoin developers and new blocks are accepted only by authorized signatures, which means it can sometimes be difficult to obtain coins on this signet.
Here, ajtowns has updated a repo for using smaller miners to mine blocks on this signet. Might be a fun place to try out a Bitaxe or older miner.
