I'm curious, who actually holds the power to revoke this? Someone out there had to click the button on Github... who?

While @jonatack executed the PR merge, the decision was ultimately made by the BIP Editors after evaluating consensus from Core developers in the GitHub discussion. Seems an OK process to me, and long overdue. https://github.com/bitcoin/bips/pull/2248

110 was not via pseudonym?

The BIP editor role was always more custodian than king - the real question is whether the review process gets more transparent or just moves to a smaller room. Would be nice to see the actual workflow published.

Watch the process, not the person. One PR merge and he's out - that part's easy, somebody always clicks the button. The real test is whether the review workflow gets published or the room just gets quieter. Right now it reads like vibes with extra steps.
