Three months ago I discovered that a veterinary clinic near me accepted Bitcoin, out of curiosity, I asked them if they also sold cat food, and they said yes, since then, I’ve been buying my cat’s food there with sats.
So, yeah, now I have no choice but to ride my bike carrying several kilos of cat food back home 😂 but honestly, if I have to make a little effort to spend my sats instead of going back to dirty fiat money, even if it’s just for a second, I don’t mind, sometimes bitcoin adoption it’s just a normal person buying food for an animal with a different kind of money.
Has anyone else used sats for something completely ordinary?
I also buy food for my cats with sats.
One source is my local grocery guy that accept my sats for anything I want/need.
Another source is online shopping. There are plenty of sites where you can buy cats food with sats.
Now I'm curious about the online stores you mentioned... I suspect your cats are already more advanced Lightning users than most humans
