I ate a peach instead of an Oreo ice cream cone last night. That was a big win for me.
That’s a psychotic level of commitment
I was watching the Brewers vs Dodgers game and my wife came back downstairs and was puttering in the kitchen. I was eating the peach and she said something along the lines of "good for you". Then she asked if I wanted to watch something on netflix so we watched a couple episodes of the Hawk (it's that golf comedy with Will Ferrell) and I didn't have any chance to sneak an ice cream cone after she gave me kudos for eating a peach instead. Haha
I've been slowly getting back to yoga with yin classes, but have not yet committed to a vinyasa. My goal is to start adding one additional vinyasa a week starting next week, plus extra core work and hip stretching.
I've also been eating less and letting myself sleep as long as I want. I suspect my cortisol/melatonin is pretty disregulated so I should probably address that specifically somehow. Also my T is too normal for my liking, so if vinyasas/sleep improvements don't get it up, I'll probably start targeting some change there too.
Do you monitor your testosterone levels?
Awesome. This is the way.
I got tested recently for the first time in awhile. Total T is right in the middle of the reference range.
I'm not opposed to doing HRT-like things once I'm a bit older and tried everything else. I suspect we'll have some good peptide alternatives to HRT by then though.
Not as much activity as I should be getting (although there are some unmeasured pool sessions in there).
I have been eating herbs and spices from the garden most days and managed to forage some berries today.
