A very disappointing day for the 49ers D.
Osa Odighizuwa had a good day and Warner forced a fumble but otherwise not much good happening on D today.
Bosa and Williams back will help but I am concerned about Edge depth and the safeties. Herbert had an absolute field day throwing deep balls.
49ers plan to start some of the 1s on Thursday. Let's see how it goes in the game but Raheem Morris has some work to do if this D is going to be a top 10 unit.
Offense had an ok day. Black returned and had some nice runs. Brock connected with Stribling for a couple TDs. I am not concerned about the offense (well maybe LG).
Thursday's game should be a good test for the 49ers.
Defensive depth issues always show up early in camp, but the safety play is what really worries me.

From what we saw last week, it probably doesn’t take much to cook the 49ers defense
That is somewhat discouraging considering they were pretty good (I think 13th) before Bosa and Warner went out last year. I believe they dropped to 17th after Bosa went down and 23rd after Warner. They have also spent a lot of draft capital the last couple years to improve and make the D younger. Granted they are missing their starting two Edges and one of their starting DTs just came back from shoulder surgery and started practicing last week. I am sure there is room for improvement but with the Rams week 1 I was hoping the D would be further along.
